The drive has been pretty spectacular even though we took I-5. (Map this!)
We simply love California and Oregon, even though our stay has been brief. Tall snow capped volcanoes framed by foothills, beautiful fall foliage of red and yellow, serene rivers, and ocean side ports.

Next stop Canada I assume. When do you expect to actually be “off the grid”? Will your posts be less frequent – or do you plan to dial in for blog posts or what?
We had to put the GPRS phone away as the cost is three cents per KB! So yes our posts will become less “realtime”
Its been so long since I went through Oregon. I feel like exploring it again after seeing your pics.
