Redrum, redrum, redrum

I can’t make up my mind between the Bates Motel or the lodge in “The Shining”. The Eagle Plains Motel is just creepy and run by creepy sullen staff. The isolated location must attract a special kind of person, one that is a borderline sociopath. Long hallways with worn carpeting from the sixties, and a neurotic dog that scurries around like a large rat really play to the strange ambiance.

The clerk was very INSISTENT on us getting a room on the back side of the Hotel. Why – would have been easier to have at us on that side? Gruesome displays of the death mask of the “Rat River Killer” and large stuffed heads do well to keep all the clients in line and keep them from asking questions… Mwwwwaahahahahaha – Sleep tight, heh, heh.

Personally, if any of the staff is wearing human skin masks or carrying chainsaws, I tend to look elsewhere for lodgings.

At Eagle Plains you have no choice. You can check-out anytime but you can never leave! Bwwwaaahahahahahaha!
