The Pantanal is a magical place in Brazil. I have not seen a place so overflowing with wildlife so easily seen, outside of Africa. Although 90% of the Pantanal is private farms, animals and humans seem to peacefully co-exist together. It is not unusual to have to wade through a few caiman on the way to your hotel, or find capybara thoughfully munching on your garden.
