i live a block away from where that pic was taken. it was snowfall and not an avalanche that crushed that shed. we recieved 33 ft of snow winter 06-07 in stewart bc

I told Neena that it was excessive snowfall that caused the collapse but she never lets the facts get in the way of a good story! I’m glad that the self-policing of facts on the internet is working!
This isn’t a picture of avalanche damage but it is a picture of winter 2006/2007 snow-load damage. We had about 32 feet of snow that winter. There hasn’t been building damage caused by avalanches in the years that I have lived in Stewart.
